MOZART MASH-UP
As part of BBC Radio 3's The Genius of Mozart season, the BBC Concert Orchestra have been out and about discovering ways that Mozart's music still has an impact on life today.
We met Eduardo Miranda, professor of computer music at the University of Plymouth. Eduardo composed Mozart Reloaded, a piece for live piano and computer, by first taking small fragments of Mozart piano sonatas. He then fed the fragments through a computer programme and worked them back together to create a single composition.
The BBC Concert Orchestra made the Mozart fragments available to download so that anyone can have a go at creating their own Mozart Mash-Up. Here are a selection of Mash-Ups by the Concert Orchestra team and you at home!
