ITZIK GALILI Romance Inverse
STEPHEN PETRONIO By Singing Light
With live music from BBC National Chorus of Wales
Artistic Director: Ann Sholem
Two of the world's hippest choreographers have created a sensational evening of breathtaking dance for National Dance Company Wales.
Itzik Galili's Romance Inverse is a two-part work that illuminates the sharp minimalist music of Steve Reich and the dramatic and sensual music of Percossa.
Inspired by the poetry of Dylan Thomas, Stephen Petronio has created By Singing Light, a profound dance response to the power of Thomas as an artist of international stature. It is performed to the lyrical, yet driven music of Son Lux, influenced by the Welsh songs of Mansel Thomas.
