A plot against a Roman emperor, the reverie of Shakespeare's Romeo, the childlike make-believe of the fairy kingdom and a waltz for the end of time; Thierry Fischer introduces an evening of musical storytelling and orchestral virtuosity, ranging from Ravel's decadent waltz to the ebullient high spirits of Beethoven's First Piano Concerto.
