part of the BBC Proms Inspire 2011 series
The BBC Proms Inspire scheme is aimed at young people aged 12 to 18 who either want to start writing music or want to develop their composing skills. Through a series of nationwide Composer Labs, an Inspire Day at the BBC Proms and the prestigious BBC Proms Young Composer's competition, Inspire offers a friendly environment in which to share ideas, try something new, meet other young composers, get feedback from professional composers and players and develop musical creativity.Whatever your style of music or experience, it's a chance to be inspired and could lead to having your music performed at the BBC Proms and heard on BBC Radio 3. Best of all, it’s all free!
In partnership with the BBC Singers and the BBC Philharmonic
