An evening of romantic orchestral music by one of Britain's finest orchestras conducted by the outstanding young Scottish conductor Rory Macdonald. The evening will feature Mendelssohn's lyrical, quicksilver violin concerto performed by rising star Jennifer Pike and will conclude with Schumann's passionate Bach-influenced symphony.
How to get there
- The market town of Haddington is 20 miles East of Edinburgh along the A1 dual carriageway. Travelling East take the second exit to Haddington - St Mary's is signposted from the main road. Look to the South, and you will see the old church tower in the distance.
- Wheelchair access is via the North door, inside which you will also find toilet facilities. The doorbell here is to allow the disabled to alert those inside, so help can be given with access.
