6 December 2011
Sign up now to take part in the BBC Concert Orchestra's Devon OR Cornwall Family Orchestra & Chorus
We'll be running workshops with both the Devon and the Cornwall Family Orchestra and Chorus side-by-side in January and February to devise, create and rehearse a piece of music to be performed alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra in a special event at Plymouth Pavilions.
The two Family Orchestras will come together with the BBC Concert Orchestra on Saturday 3 March 2012 to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012, and you can be a part of it!
Anyone can take part in our Family Orchestras. They're for mums, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents and neighbours. Everyone is welcome from keen amateurs to those who've never played in an orchestra or sang in a choir before. We're encouraging as many members of families to take part as possible. We operate a no drop-off policy for children so mums and dads, be brave and take part as well. From past experience we know that more family members taking part, means more fun.***Devon Family Orchestra & Chorus Workshop Dates***
