Bailey's Remarkable Guide Wins Award

  Bill Bailey has won a prestigious international television award for his Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra.

  The full-scale production, filmed with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in 2008, has not only won 'Best Musical Variety Programme or Series', but also the award for 'Best Entertainment' in Best of Show across all festival genres.

  Bill says:

  "We are delighted to receive this award, which is fantastic and deserved recognition for all the people who were involved. The programme was a huge, collaborative effort and my thanks are extended to all who took part in its production, in particular Anne Dudley and the BBC Concert Orchestra."
