Introduce a young person to live orchestral music

  • FAMILY TICKETS:

£11 (1 adult and up to 2 children), £16.50 (2 adults and up to 4 children)

    cello

We understand the cost of concert-going can really add up when you want to bring the whole family, which is why we offer our special Family Ticket scheme across Wales.

All children 16 and under qualify for the ticket scheme. Just let us know how many adults and young people you would like to bring when you book.

    What about programmes?

At the concert you can pick up free Family Programme notes designed especially for children 9+. They are available from the Orchestra's information desk.

Are concerts suitable for all ages?

We perform a wide variety of concerts every year, including ones designed especially for young people.

The length of each piece varies, with some lasting up to 90 minutes in a main season concert. There is usually an interval of 20 minutes and if you need to you can leave in between pieces.

We do not have age limits on attendance for our concerts as it depends very much on the young person. As a general guide we recommend our main season concerts as suitable for ages 7+.
