Dirac

Description:

Dirac is a state of the art video codec that provides general-purpose video compression and decompression tools. It is cross-platform and written in ANSI standard C++. Currently Dirac is in alpha (early development). It is principally command line but there is an experimental support for Windows Media Player and MPlayer. Ultimately Dirac will support a variety of players on different platforms. For more information visit the home page, in particular the FAQ at http://dirac.sourceforge.net/faq.html.
