Reviewing the Situation - Final Result

Jodie is Nancy!

After an agonising wait, it was finally time to kick off the results show. We had a quick recap of what happened earlier tonight, and how Samantha is feeling to be out of the competition.

Next, it was time for Jessie and Jodie to sing their penultimate song, their own renditions of 'As Long As He Needs Me.' First up was Jodie, followed by Jessie. So What did Andrew think?

'Jodie you've got it all there and it was a safe performance,' he said, 'and Jessie, that was extraordinary, but whether you can sustain that, I don't know.'

Next, another special treat as the runner up Nancys and Olivers gave a heart-warming rendition of 'Never Forget'.

With the phone lines about to close for the last time, it was our remaining Nancy's last chance to sing for survival. They chose their favourite performances of the series. First up was Jodie singing 'I Have Nothing', followed by Jessie singing 'The Man That Got Away'.

After a quick recap of the whole series, it was the moment we'd all been waiting for. Who had the great British public chosen to be their Nancy?

The winner is...

...JODIE!!!

An overwhelmed Jodie said, 'thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, I'm just so chuffed!'

Was Andrew happy with the result? 'The people's Nancy,' he said, 'Jodie was always going to be the people's choice.' And Cameron added, 'I'm thrilled for Jodie, congratulations!'

And finally, it was time for her final winning performance of 'As Long As He Needs Me.'

What a night! Congratulations to Jodie - You ARE Nancy!
