Jodie talks about her feelings going into the final

Jodie talks about her feelings going into the final

In her final week in the Nancy house, we caught up with Jodie to talk about her experiences in the competition.

How did you feel going into I'd Do Anything?

'I was nervous about doing this, but I put myself out there. I didn't know if I still had it as I hadn't sung for two years. I wouldn't have gone for it if I couldn't put 100 percent into it. I've worked hard every week to prove myself.'

What qualities do you have that make you right for this role?

'I've got the wealth of knowledge and I've got the heart to do it. That's what I think Nancy is about. I've waited 28 years to give it some, but I'm ready to give.'

What has been the toughest moment in the competition for you so far?

'The very first audition. I had nothing to hide behind and I might not have got in.'

Has your mum given you any advice for the final?

'My mum has said through all of this that I have to keep my feet on the floor and my head out of the clouds. It's lovely, all the glitz and the glamour, but that's not what it's all about.'

How much do you want to win this role now?

'It would be the ultimate role. It's not about having a job, it's about living your passion.'
