Pete's back with his final diary - about the final

Pete's back with his final diary - about the final

When I started working on I'd Do Anything back in December, this week seemed so far away! We toured the nation, enrolled in Nancy School, and visited the Lord's country mansion, whittling thousands down to twelve. And from that twelve we're left with just three. But this Saturday only one Nancy will be left with her locket and the West End dream.

For everyone working behind the scenes on the show, Saturday will be especially busy. With two live shows on one night, the filming team will be flat out, running around back stage with their cameras. After the main show, all the behind the scenes footage for the results show needs to be filmed and edited in a matter of minutes. As soon as we have something on a tape, it is literally run upstairs to the edit. There, the producers cut together all the relevant footage of the girls backstage, ready for the results show VT. It's tiring me out just thinking about it!

As soon as I've finished writing this, I've got to get over to the training venue. It's a busy week, but there's plenty of time for resting on Sunday! Without a doubt the level of energy, excitement and anticipation is set to go through the roof on Saturday night. After such an emotional show last week, I'm sure there won't be a dry eye either!

With the final week comes the final time we do everything, including writing this blog! So with that in mind, I suppose all that's left to say is cheerio! (but be back soon!)
