The Fight Is On
Jodie talks about her semi-finals experiences
After securing her place in next Saturday's final, we caught up with Jodie for a quick chat.
Were you all preparing yourselves for being sent home this week?
'We did more than any other week. We were all practising the sing-off song backstage. You never know which way it's going to go. Everyone prepared themselves for going home last week.'
How did it feel to be told you could still be Nancy and had made it through to the finals?
'It felt like my heart had stopped. My feet wouldn't work properly and I felt like I was going to be sick. I didn't know whether to cry or not. You go through so many emotions.'
Why do you think the public have shown you so much support?
'Whatever they see I am so grateful and I hope they see me for who I am.'
What is your plan for the final?
'This week I'm going to go out there and give it every bit of heart I've got. I'm going to go up there and let everyone read me. I've got nothing to lose now.'
'There's no room for error. If I do go, I don't want there to be any regrets. The fight is on.'
