Sam talks about being in the final five

After another triumphant performance last week, Sam is riding high on a wave of excellent comments from the judges. We caught up with her to talk about her plans going into the quarter-finals.

Does she feel like she might win now?

'As my performance has grown, so has my confidence. I have more self belief now.'

'I could be a leading lady in a massive show. That's an amazing feeling.'

Is she worried that she might become over-confident?

'Coming up to the quarter-finals I'm not going to get complacent. I remember having bad comments and I don't want to go back there. I'm working to progress and take it to another level.'

'I'm looking at the other girls and I think they're brilliant. I'm going to be upping my game now because if you relax you're out.'

With only five Nancys left, does Sam feel the pressure increasing?

'The pressure gets harder as you get closer to your dream. It feels better because you are competing with fewer people, but the cliffs get higher. There are five of us left and only one role. It has to be one of us.'
