Leading Lady Potential

Rachel talks about fighting back this week

Rachel talks about fighting back this week

After a mixed reaction to her performance last week, we caught up with Rachel to talk about how she felt on the night and what she plans to do this week to ensure her next performance is better received.

Did Rachel think she was going to be making another appearance in the sing-off?

'Honestly I thought somebody was playing a trick on me last night. When we walked forward I thought this is it, I am a goner and I'm going home. When Graham said I could still be Nancy, I couldn't believe it. I was in shock.'

So what are her plans going forward into the next performance?

'This week I'm going to go out there and prove to them that I've got leading lady potential. I think it takes stamina, enthusiasm and energy. I give that every week and if that's not leading lady potential, I don't know what is.'

How does she feel going into the quarter-finals?

'The thought of going into the quarter-finals is absolutely terrifying. It's a scary feeling knowing I have one week before I climb one of the biggest hurdles of my life. It's a massive amount of pressure.'
