Philippe started diving at just eight years old, and now at the age of 28, he has logged well over a thousand dives. Philippe is CEO of EarthEcho International, a non-profit organisation he founded with his sister Alexandra and mother Jan.
He has lectured at such institutions as the UN, Harvard University and many more around the world on environmental issues and is the Chief Ocean Correspondent for Discovery's Animal Planet Channel.
He regularly appears on TV and radio, as both a host and commentator, and has written for several magazines including National Geographic and Sport Diver Magazine US. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Ocean Conservancy, National Environmental Education Foundation and the Marine Conservation Biology Institute.
As well as diving, Philippe also has a passion for rock climbing and snow boarding.
