Voices: Turning words into action
Pat Gutteridge's puppet Pat and the puppets

Pat Gutteridge creates her own puppets and invites children from The Meadows to learn more about the world around them through role play.

Pat Gutteridge is well known in The Meadows community.

She has a collection of 500 puppets, most of which she has made herself.

She takes her puppets to public venues, such as Carlton Library, where she puts on performances aimed at both adults and children.

The performances are interactive and the audience are encouraged to play with the puppets.

She hopes that adults and children alike will learn more about the world around them through role play with her creations.

Pat's local knowledge and talent for voices has led her to have a regular slot on on The Meadows community radio, Crystal FM 87.7.

She also has a website where kids can download pictures of the puppets, colour them in:
