1st June 2001 Woman gets £20,000 from TV firm for UFO video
The TV broadcast rights to the video shot by a Derbyshire woman have reportedly been sold to a Hollywood television company for £20,000.
The video was stored in a Nottingham bank vault while the negotiations with UFO spotter Sharon Rowlands were carried out. The footage allegedly shows a flashing disc covered with yellow, blue and orange lights. It hovered in the sky about two miles from Sharon's home in Bonsall, Derbyshire for approximately six minutes.
NASA has apparently showed interest in the footage, with the Daily Star newspaper saying the California TV company have been asked to show it to a NASA specialist. The video is now locked in a bank vault in California. There've been other sightings of UFOs and alien spacecraft in the same area of Derbyshire, with some describing the area as a hotbed of UFO activity. The company that bought the footage says it is one of the most important UFO sightings ever captured on tape. |
