The truth is out there
UFO ?
news block
Is it a jellyfish, just a blob or could it be a UFO?
It sounds like a story straight out of the X-Files - the video tape which has had to be locked in a Nottingham bank because it contains footage of extra terrestrials.

The video has been filmed by villagers living in the Derbyshire village of Bonsall.

They're so concerned it could fall into the wrong hands that they've placed it in the, as yet, unnamed Nottingham bank for safe keeping.

A bidding war is now expected to break out among television companies from all over the world desperate to see the alleged UFO evidence.

Alien in Bonsall
Not quite a little green man, but he was spotted in Bonsall

The locals first started seeing strange objects in the sky in September last year.

A huge multi coloured disc was apparently spotted over the nearby village of Carsington.

Since then there have been numerous sightings, including one instance when villager Sharon Rowlands claims she filmed a flying saucer for six and a half minutes.

It's that video which is now nestled somewhere in Nottingham.

So is it all pie in the sky? Should we call in Mulder and Scully? And can Derbyshire really claim to be the UFO capital of Britain?

We want to hear from you. Is there anywhere in Nottingham which is a haven for aliens from outer space?

Do you have a picture of a UFO that we could show to the world?
