When it comes to guitar legend's Nottingham can
boast one of the finest.
Alvin Lee started playing guitar at the age of
13. By 15 he was the core of Ten Years After and getting ready to
make history by being on the line-up of the Woodstock festival.
His days with 10 years after might long be over
but Lee hasn't been standing still. He's played with the likes of
Steve Winwood, George Harrison and Ronnie Wood.
Now he's just released a new album, Alvin Lee in
Tennessee, where he teams up with the likes of former Elvis guitarist
Scotty Moore. He's also heading back to Nottingham to play live.
