Keith Sweat has sculptured the R and B world since bursting on the scene in the late 80's. With over 14 million albums sold worldwide, including 5 number one albums and 15 top ten singles, the scene is set for his latest venture 'Rebirth.'

Rebirth is all you would expect from one of R and B's most defining artists. Soulful, sensual and tender, mixing traditional characteristics of R and B with the fierce edge of hip-hop, Sweat's work has often been credited with the emergence of the 'New Jack' flavour that influenced so many soul artists in the late 80's and early 90's.

Opening track 'I want you' sets the pace, with an 80's twang, and a powerful lyrical trio, featuring Rap artists Royalty and Nasdaq, which adds this track to those on the album with a Hip-Hop edge.

'One on one' is the first single to be taken off the album, featuring Lola Troy and Lade Bac. It is a tender ballad exposing typically lustful lyrics, that have earned Sweat the title of being the 'Luthur Vandross' of the Hip-Hop generation amongst critics.

The rest of 'Rebirth' is a mix of loose groves, tender ballads and lustful soul, all written and produced by the man himself. 'Rebirth' also features two bonus live tracks, including a live version of 'Twisted' from his last album.

With a firm following established from his previous song-writing success, sleek, soulful and smooth, 'Rebirth' will no doubt earn Keith Sweat yet more international acclaim.
