Last time we heard from him, he'd had an operation at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre to help with the build up of acid in his stomach which had been successful, and was being flown to Tokyo by a TV documentary team to look for a remedy. Whilst he was there he was given an MRI scan and was then told the awful news that he had a brain tumour. Bravely, he agreed to join Richard this morning at BBC Radio Nottingham.
