For centuries historians have chewed over the origins of Nottinghamshire's most famous outlaw - Robin Hood. Now one budding historian says he's researched what many of you may find a surprising new theory. BBC Radio Nottingham's Rebecca Brice went on a rather unusual tour of Nottingham to find out more about your local legend's 'pink' connection...

Tuesday

Over the last year we've been following the story of Christopher Sands, the man who can't stop hiccupping. Last time we heard from him, he'd had an operation at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre to help with the build up of acid in his stomach which had been successful, and was being flown to Tokyo by a TV documentary team to look for a remedy. Whilst he was there he was given an MRI scan and was then told the awful news that he had a brain tumour. Bravely, he agreed to join Richard this morning at BBC Radio Nottingham.

Controversial TV host Jeremy Kyle was on Andy's show ahead of a visit to Nottingham. He's just written a book about his views on life and what he's learnt from the TV show....

Thursday

If you needed to check 140 Kilometers of overhead electricity cables every day, how would you do it? The company that looks after the electricity supply in Nottinghamshire has a solution and it involves flying low over the countryside in a helicopter.  Breakfast time presenter Andy Whittaker went to see what linesman like Adam Crick actually do, but before he climbed on the helicopterm he chatted to Andrew Barrow from Central Networks....

Friday

Nottingham has announced that it's bidding to be a host city for the 2018 World Cup.  The news was revealed on Andy Whittaker's show on BBC Radio Nottingham when he was joined by the city council leader Jon Collins....
