Fun lovers from far
and wide have been descending on Nottinghamshire for the annual pilgrimage
to Goose Fair.

Bright sunshine greeted the thousands of visitors
to this year's Goose Fair.

The event is one of the largest travelling fairs
in Europe and attracts nearly one million people.
Many return to the fair year on year.
Some had been coming for
as long as 50 years, like Norman from Nottingham:

"In all the years... it hasn't changed much.
Except the prices have gone up."
There were plenty of families there too.

Rachel from Nottingham had brought her children
and remembers coming with her parents as a child herself.
Tony and Lisa brought little Harry who wanted to
have a ride on everything!
