Nottinghamshire's often been criticised for not making enough of its assets.

Robin Hood for example. Surely tourist chiefs could utilise the famous figure to greater effect?

Well, the big chiefs in the county are attempting to do just that.

An outside company's been appointed to try and develop a new visual identity for Nottinghamshire.

This will be used to create a new brand to publicise the city of Nottingham and the county as a whole.

If you want to find out more you can take a look at their website.

Have your say

But we'd like you to give us an idea of how we should sell Notts as well.

When you think of Nottinghamshire, what three words spring to mind. Let us know. Will it still be the old favourite (Robin Hood) or is there really some new image with which to sell the county?
