The sun didn't exactly shine but it was certainly a hot day for the children and their parents who took up Radio Nottingham's challenge to enjoy a Wicked Day Out.

They had a go at caving, climbing, sailing and canoeing at the Mill Adventure Base.

For the younger ones there was the chance to do some jumping on the bouncy castle.

BBC Radio Nottingham's lunchtime presenter, Sarah Julian, broadcast live from the event.

All the activities were run and supervised by qualified and experienced staff from Nottinghamshire County Council Youth Service’s Adventure Team.

Relive the day by taking a look through out Wicked Day Out Gallery.

Here's to the next BBC Radio Nottingham Wicked Day Out.
