Introduced by the Duke of Bedford.

Originates from South East Asia.

Their coats are a dark sandy colour and have a dark brown stripe down their backs.

They have two prominent teeth growing from their upper jaw.

Found in parks in Woburn, but also in the wild in counties around Bedfordshire.

Escapees have established themselves throughout England, and can be found in Nottinghamshire.

Red Deer are Britain's largest existing land mammals.

A stag can weigh up to 450 lbs.

They're known to mate with Sika Deer.

Indigenous herds live in the Scottish highlands, Western Islands and the Lake District.

Red deer can be found in Nottinghamshire.

Reindeers in Britain can only be found in Cairngorm in Scotland.

They can weigh approximately 300 lbs.

They eat Lichen from the ground.

Extremely unlikely to be found in Nottingham!
