It was a glorious day for the 2003 Great Notts Bike Ride (Sunday 22nd June) and thousands took part.

Organisers say it was the biggest and best Great Notts Bike Ride ever (well they would wouldn't they!)

But let's be honest, it couldn't have been much better.

Conditions were glorious and around 4,500 riders of all ages and abilities took advantage.

As well as being a fun day out the event raised thousands of pounds for charity.
