With experience at the BBC we're expecting great things from Chris Cooke.

By spring 2003 we should see the fruits of his first full feature film called One For The Road and starring Hywel Bennett.

Cooke's been working with DV technology for the last 10 years and is a director who likes to make full use of crew and cast from the region.

He came to Nottingham after dropping out of a Fine Arts degree course in Stoke.

He's very much an experimental director who likes to let the camera move.

Traditionally Chris has worked in the medium of short films.

The likelihood is that, whether One For The Road is a success or not, his next project will be a short movie.
