Artist profile
As an artist my practise surrounds ideas concerning
photographic processes and artificial environments.
I am interested in what preconceptions exist in interpretation and
experience of the urban environment with relation the media and the
visual image.

I make work that is both aesthetically pleasing with
respect to colour and mood, and images that are presented using methods
that engage the senses, such as light boxes and projection.
It is important to me that my work is more than a static photograph
as I feel the power and experience in an image comes from being involved
with light itself as in cinema or film.
It is the seductive qualities of light and colour that enhance experience,
sensory perception and understanding of environment.
