Introducing... Red Shoes Diaries

Red Shoes Diaries are a Nottingham based indie band who've 'got a bit of magic going on.'

Red Shoes Diaries are Ash, Tom, Mike, Leanne and Nathan. They explain how they got together...

Mike: "Myself, Tom and Ash have been playing together for years and years since we've been young."

Tom: "A precursor to Red Shoe Diaries was a band called cerveza, Spanish for beer. That was very much for our eyes and ears only!"

Leanne joined Red Shoe Diaries in September 2008 after convincing the band they needed a female voice.

"I came to see them play, I'd had a few beers and plucked up the courage to say 'you know what would be really good?'"

Mike says: "Leanne's voice made it all come together, a lovely indie-pop sound."

Leanne adds: "We've got a bit of magic going on..."
