Sunday 29 March

BBC Radio Nottingham's Big Day Out, on Sunday 29 March, is a celebration of our history and heritage in Nottinghamshire and it's all free.

There have been some high profile cases of cutbacks in funding recently at some local attractions.

The Big Day Out is about making the most of the fascinating venues we already have.

Presenter Andy Whittaker is behind the idea.

"I think we're all very good at visiting museums and attractions when we go to other towns and cities in the UK, but when did you last go to the museum on your doorstep?"

There are around 30 museums in Nottinghamshire and many of them are involved.

Some are waiving their fees, others are opening especially for the Big Day Out.

With the following list of museums you will notice in some cases you will need a print out. Simply print off the list and write your postcode where prompted.
