I've felt God's love

Nottingham artist Aaron Lawrence's life changed when he and his family found their faith.

Aaron has been Christian for three years.

Before that he spent his weekdays working and his weekends drinking in the pub but felt there was something missing from his life.

He was constantly living with a hangover and never had any money.

Aaron decided he liked a woman at work. Dawn encouraged him to go to church with her.

"I thought it'd be boring but I really enjoyed it."

He says the moment he walked into Trent Vineyard, a church located in a warehouse off the A52 just outside the city centre, he felt as if he belonged.

Aaron says he also felt God's love.

"I got an overwhelming feeling of warmth and love. I felt overcome by it all. I was sweating like mad from head to toe.

"I gradually accepted that it was my Holy Spirit listening to God."

Aaron also felt Dawn's love. They are now married.

You can hear more 'Turning Point' stories on BBC Radio Nottingham's Sunday Breakfast Show (6:00 - 10:00).
