A public debate considering the challenge of crime in Nottingham, looking at how the community is fighting back and discussing what more needs to be done has been held at the Galleries of Justice. Help playing audio/video Your sayThe debate featured experts, politicians, Notts police and young people from across the city but the main contributors were the Nottingham public. The debate took place on Monday 29 September and was organised by the Nottingham Speakers' Corner Trust. About Speakers' Corner in NottinghamThe Nottingham's Speakers' Corner initiative was launched in February 2008. It aims to promote public debate on important issues in the city. This will be the initiative's first event.
