Air Posture by Pyro

Parkour enthusiast (not Rob)

My leap of faith

Rob found himself at a roundabout in his life. He needed advice and turned to God. After a leap of faith He answered Rob's prayers.

Brought up Catholic, Rob says his early upbringing turned him off religion.

He lived a care-free exsistence and spent his early working life travelling all over the world but by the age of 30 he felt he needed to make some big decisions.

"I got to the point in my life where I needed guidance. I didn't want to make the wrong move."

Rather than turn to a careers advisor he looked to enlist the help of God.

"I thought if there's one entity, one being, that would know all the answers it was this God fella."

Rob prayed but nothing happened. He didn't get the burning bushes he was expecting so decided to venture into a church. The congregation were very welcoming and asked him if he had any questions.

Rob's now a self-employed businessman

"I remember saying 'Send an army round I've got loads of questions'."

Blind step of faith

The real sticking point was that Rob wanted to 'see the signs' and then he would believe. But he was told by the people from his local church that he needed to believe first.

Rob took the step.

"I prayed the prayer and almost imperceptibly a peace came around me. It's difficult to explain. It certainly wasn't a physical thing. Nothing you could see.

"It wasn't the flashing lights and the lightening that I was expecting but I had a peace that came over me that kind of seeped into my pores and said everything was going to be okay and that to me was a sign that God was everywhere."
