Event Previews

The Lowdham Book Festival is the biggest literature event in Nottinghamshire.

Over 40 published authors will be appearing in this tiny little village over a period of eight days.

International best sellers and local authors will be vying for your attention.

There's a sporting theme during the first weekend including Brian Clough evening.

Big names attending the event include author Tim Pears (Blenheim Orchard), actor Colin Tarrant, singer Kiki Dee, author Blake Morrison (South of the River) and Guardian writer Simon Hoggart.

The festival is now in its eighth year.
