At a time when schools throughout Britain are struggling to make the majority of pupils like science, five Nottinghamshire schools have teamed up with professional film makers and scientists to show just how exciting the subject can be. It's the brainchild of Creative Partnerships Nottingham, who've organised a series of events under the banner Come Alive With Science. "The aim is to boost creativity and creative thinking among young people," says Hugh James of Creative Partnerships. "It's a hands on way of showing how science can inspire curiosity and a spirit of inquiry, as well as providing options for exciting future study and careers."
