This year's Nottingham Tennis Open (19 - 24 June) is reaching its climax. We're down to the semi-finals and this is the line up. Defending champion Richard Gasquet is still in the competition and will need to beat Robin Soderling if he's going to reach the final. In the other semi it's Andreas Seppi, the man who knocked out Andy Murray, against Jonas Bjorkman. Saturday coverage On Monday the No.1 seed and 2001 winner at Nottingham, Thomas Johansson (Sweden, world no.19) was knocked out of the competition by Jan Vacek (world no.221) from the Czech Republic. On Tuesday Andy Murray, the British No.2, beat Russian Dmitry Tursunov on Centre Court. On Wednesday Andy Murray beat Max Mirnyi in his second round match. On Thursday Richard Gasquet beat Gilles Simon in two sets. On Friday we found out who'd be contesting the 2006 Nottingham Open final. It's going to be defending champion Richard Gasquet against former champion Jonas Bjorkman. Gasquet defeated Robin Soderling 7-6 7-6 while Bjorkman, who won the tournament in 1998 and 2002, ensured his place in the final with a 6-3 6-1 win over Italian Andreas Seppi in just 71 minutes.
