Grant Denkinson and his wife Elizabeth, are in a polyamorous relationship. This means that they're a couple with the freedom to engage in other relationships. Grant says it feels natural to him and Elizabeth,
"Most of the time it works very well for us, most of the time it's just normal life... generally it's a nice thing rather than a bad thing."
Grant admits that he and Elizabeth are open about their other partners. He believes it's beneficial to their own relationship,
|"Often when you've been with someone else it means that you've got a happy, bouncy mood and that feeds positively in other relationships."|

Grant says that there's a difference between polyamory and 'swinging',
"I do know people who are swingers, and also do polyamory, swinging is based more on friendships and recreational sex rather than focusing more on long-term relationship types."

"A poly relationship will fall apart very quickly if you're not communicating well."
