Robin Hood’s new look, together with Dominic Minghella’s scripts updates the legend for a contemporary audience.
TV newcomer Jonas Armstrong has the responsibility of playing the hooded man. He says,

The series also stars Keith Allen as the Sheriff of Nottingham; Lucy Griffiths as Maid Marian and Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne, the Sheriff’s lieutenant.
Robin's Merry Men include Gordon Kennedy as Little John; Sam Troughton as Robin’s loyal manservant 'Much'; Harry Lloyd as Will Scarlett; Joe Armstrong as Allan-a-Dale and and William Beck as 'Roy'.
Robin Hood is set for transmission on BBC ONE in Autumn 2006.
