Where are you all from?

We are from Mansfield and met at school about 10 years ago and decided we wanted to be in a band and it went from there.

How would you define your music and who are the main influences?

Hard to define, we'll leave that to the audience. Influences include, Radiohead, System of a Down, The Smiths, Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Rage Against the Machine, Muse and many more.

Do you find it difficult to find places to play In Nottinghamshire?

Yeah, we find there aren't many small venues that are easily accessible anymore. We find it easier to get gigs around Mansfield, Sheffield and even London.

Is this difficulty hampering unsigned bands in Notts?

I guess so. Bands have to go elsewhere to play unless they're considered as one of the cool crowd or can guarantee loads of people will turn up, it can be a real struggle.

What do you make of The Arctic Monkey's rise to fame?

Strange but good, they are a real band at least and we even played on the same bill as them once in Sheffield. I find it strange how the industry seems to jump on the back of one act or band and forget about all the other great bands until the "next big thing" comes along.

What's the strangest and best gigs you've took part in?

We played in Rother Valley Country Park once for the Cable Water Ski Championships, lets just say it was raining, dark, there were no lights and the barbeque was behind the stage. Best gigs have been consistently the Town Mill battle of the bands in Mansfield for crowd turn-out and the Grapes in Sheffield for a great atmosphere.
