If you're a budding photographer, here is your chance to show off your skills by sending us your pictures of Nottinghamshire.

We're putting together a selection of pictures of Nottinghamshire through the months to display on this website.

So, if it's an area of Nottinghamshire or an event in our county that captures your imagination then get snapping and send those photos in.

A Picture of Nottinghamshire

To give you some inspiration we're running a photo competition.

The best photographs relating to each theme will be turned into desktop wallpaper.

The 12 best photos will then be turned into a calendar for 2006.

How to enter
