Their songs reflect the hopes and fears of today's teenagers. Nottingham band 13th Hour were formed just over a year ago. The band includes five A-level students, all from West Bridgford. They get together in a loft to write, practice and perfect their own particular musical style. They aim to combine modern sounds with the more traditional elements of rock. 13th Hour are influenced by Van Halen, Incubus, The Who and The Foo Fighters. The bandMatt Rolf - drums A drummer of eight years Matt is influenced by Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters and Abe Cunningham of the Deftones. David Little - vocals and lyrics ![]() 13th Hour on stage Although he has enjoyed singing from a young age david only recently discovered his ability to sing rock. He pens simple but meaningful lyrics and has a distinctive timbre to his voice. Tim Price - bass guitar, vocals, lyrics and drums An intuitive musician and creative writer, Tim finds inspiration in prog rock bands such as Perfect Circle and Dredge. Tom Ridley - Guitar A left-handed guitarist with a natural musicality and sensitivity. Tom has a wide appreciation of different musical genres from jazz to the instrumental metal of Steve Vai. James Bird - Guitar, drums, creative writing, audio engineering and production An advocate for the renaissance of iconic rock he shares the creative input with Tim and finds guitar inspiration in Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani and Slash.
