Recently they came third in a battle of the bands competition. We talk to Chris Daybell about the band... Tell us about the band's name...Our lead guitar player David White invented the band name. The reason we chose the name touch to far is because the name fits in with many of our song names because our album tells a story really about many different events in life. Influences...The band's main influences are mainly metal bands like Killswitch Engage, Bullet for my Valentine and old bands like Pantera. Our music is molded around this area of music. Best gig...Our best gig was on the 13th of November 2005. It was at the Works in Nottingham. The main highlight of the night was having so much feedback off the crowd, there's nothing better than this after doing an amazing gig. Best band ever...The best band ever in our eyes would be Slipknot because they have been around for quite a while. There isn’t one day that passes when we don't listen to Slipknot. Worst moment touring...When we had to be sneaked into venues that we were too young to play in, that's risky business. What the band hopes to achieve...The band hopes to achieve to move out of Nottingham and doing gigs in different cities. Any examples of 'rock 'n' roll' misbehavior?No we're not that bad, we may listen to mad music but we're not mad.
