They've got plenty of years ahead of them and they've made a great start. They recently came second in an East Midlands battle of the bands competition held at the Royal Concert Hall.

Tell us about the band's name...

We were looking for a name for the band when a long time friend thought of the name RedLemons it was an instant hit.

Influences...

Blink 182, Greenday, Kaiser Chiefs, The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Queen, Reel Big Fish, John Mayer, Alkaline Trio, Fall Out Boy, Box Car Racer, Coldplay and Muse.

Best Gig...

RedLemons album promotion night at the Town Mill, Mansfield (Lots of fans, great atmosphere, great gig and loads of album sales).

Best band ever...

Queen and The Beatles.

Worst moment touring/gigging...

Roo (lead guitarist) snapping two strings on two separate guitars then falling upstage and onto the drum platform.

What the band hopes to achieve...

To be signed by a record label and play a sold out Wembley (and bring peace throughout the world) or to play live on BBC Radio Nottingham?

Any examples of 'rock 'n' roll' misbehaviour?

Well, we haven't done the cliche TV out the window thing yet, but Roo got smacked over the head with a steel chair a couple of times, oh and we set his guitar on fire as well.... great laugh.
