Working a late shift can lead to bad habits though, for example the lure of daytime TV. Rob has to make a conscious effort to bypass the remote control when he finally wakes up otherwise the day disappears.

When not working, (not often) Rob spends as much time as he can with his partner Suzanne which can prove difficult as she often seems to be working when he's not.

He also loves the company of his daughters Laura and Emma, who are both keen dancers, and his son Liam coming up close behind as a budding footballer and cricketer.

He loves his music... anything really, from jazz funk to classical classics.

Rob is not ashamed to admit that his favourite song is by Genesis - "Follow you follow me".
