Harry Harish

Harry's been with BBC Radio Nottingham since 1984, but it wasn't until 1992 that he was given the responsibility to produce and present the show.

Harry started helping out behind the scenes as a member of the Nawrang team, taking over as presenter of a popular Sunday evening programme eight years later.

A busy local businessman away from the microphone he devotes most of his spare time to preparing the show and gathering material from the county's Asian community.

One of the perks of Harry's job is that he's got to speak to many many stars in Bollywood.

Harry has a wonderful family - wife, daughter and son - who he is very proud of.

He's been a keen photographer from the age of 15 and says that he is always taking snaps - his favourite subject being the Taj Mahal.
