After several months doing the Late Show on BBC Radio Nottingham Frances Finn took over the reins of the Lunchtime Show in March 2005.

In August 2006 she moved to the Afternoon Show and started presenting the Morning Show in March 2007.

Fran loves walking in the wilds of the countryside.

She also likes to rattle a few pots and pans while slaving over a hot stove.

One of her favourite movies is Arthur starring Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli.

She enjoys playing tennis and used to be a reasonable player until she developed the trappings of age (mentally and bodily). She is also always keen to try new sports.

She plays a few musical instruments and has been in a few bands over the years.

Oh, and she does the odd bit of sea fishing in Cornwall when she can - a strange habit for a girl, perhaps, but then she admits to being strange!

However, she's not so fond of camping.
