| "I think Forest fans wouldn’t be there [at the City Ground] if they didn’t have a sense of humour!" | | Alan Fisher |
If Forest were top of the Premiership and taking on Milan and Barcelona in Europe then there would be little point in a new fanzine. When everything is rosy people are less inclined to write passionate articles about their team, and the rest are less prone to read them, they just enjoy themselves. That’s why it makes perfect sense for the fans of fallen giants Nottingham Forest to produce a magazine that gives them all something to smile about.

Lost That Loving Feeling, named after the song which Reds fans have adopted as their anthem, started life as a website. One of the fanzine’s founders Alan Fisher says about the transition from web to paper, “We’ve often thought of bringing a paper version to reach those non-internet savvy Forest fans and try and send that humour we’ve generated online to a wider Forest audience.” The fanzine contains various opinion pieces which you would expect but there’s also a lot of satire aimed at the boardroom, management and players. Essentially the LTLF team, whilst they love Nottingham Forest, are actually taking the mickey out of it as well. Alan says, “I think Forest fans wouldn’t be there [City Ground] if they didn’t have a sense of humour. We spent most of last season telling jokes to each other to pass the time!”
