Funeral For A Friend
Funeral For A Friend

Funeral pyre

After a sneaky appearance at Download, Funeral For A Friend are heading back to Notts.

Times are good for Funeral For A Friend. The South Wales group have just celebrated their second album, Hours, going into the top 10, they've played Download and now they're engaged in a sell out tour of the UK.

In concert proceedings will stop off at Nottingham's Rock City on 6th July 2005.

The only real problem the band has is deciding which tracks to play and which to drop from their successful long players (debut album Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation gained the band several awards).

Prior to the tour Nigel Bell caught up with the Funeral's drummer Ryan Richards. He was enjoying a bite to eat in a trendy restaurant at the time but he graciously gave us a few minutes to tell us about:-

  • Download 2005
  • The new album Hours
  • Writing songs
  • Music and Wales
  • Playing live

Funeral For A Friend play Rock City on 6th July 2005. The gig's a sell out but there might be some returns. Check with the venue on 0115 958 8484.
