Dear gloating Fox. Forest have in fact played in football's third tier once before in the 1950's. Please get your facts straight before making comments please. Forest have had more seasons in top flight than any other east mids club

FOREST FOREST ARE STAYING UP
COME ON YOU REDS U CAN DO IT READ THIS PLEASE!:)
It's good to see at last the fans are now beginning to see that Megson is the problem although this doesn't solve anything.
Since Megson has been involved the team has slowly got worse. The player's he has brought in are infinitely worse than anything we had before. We have the worst 2 forwards in the league. Anyone with any skill has either been loaned out or ignored. He is turning good players into bad (notably Morgan and Luis Jean)The players are not unfit they just spend all their time chasing the ball. 11 men in the box for set pieces just gives the ball straight back to the opposition.
We play too narrow so there is no one to pass to.
Which ever division we are in next season I will not be going while Megson is in charge because I know exactly what sort of football we will be playing
good performance, but not good enough. theres only 1 man for the forest job- stuart pearce. he has the passion for the club and will get the forest players motivated. bring back king and jonno!!!!!
Take youeslf away from the doom and gloom for one special evening. Arrange for a few of your mates to grab a take-away and a few beers and gather around your TV. Now get out all those Forest Videos of days gone by when we were playing attractive, exciting football. Great players like Oneil, Woodcock, Robertson, Collymore, Clough, Pearce, Keane, Webb and Walker...and many more. After such an awful season you desrve a special night to forget it all and talk about the great times again. GET RINGING AROUND YOR MATES NOW AND ARRANGE THAT SPCIAL NIGHT THAT ALL FOREST FANS DESERVE !!
As long as we have Gary Megson @ the helm the glory days are just a distant memory. R.I.P Brian Clough.
it's the grimmest situation since the brothers grim sat down for breakfast and father grim came downstairs and said listen boys, things are pretty grim.
I was there. It wasn't forest's only chance on target, Perchy had one blocked mid first half. Taylor should stay in defence, he looks like a far better player there, and when he moved there, the defence was better, and so was the attack. We need to stop hoofing the ball up to Taylor and the two strikers going it alone up front, we need to play the ball along the ground and get the midfielders forward as well, that's the difference which is sending us down this season.
1 shot on goal. Is it a suprise when we defend corners with all 11 men in the box? With 15 mins to go we should have thrown caution to the wind and gone for broke! 1 point was as good as no points, so we should have gone all out for 3. But no, Megson even made a time wasting substitution in injury time! It says it all about the man. I was bitterly disappointed last night. I would seriously rather have lost and left the ground at least feeling we went for it, than trudging away with a worthless point. I can't fault the players effort, I can fault the manager's tactics and sheer negativity when we should have just gone for it. With a wimper not a bang we let our last glimmer of hope fade away and that is unacceptable!! Megson, please leave. I don't know what your agenda is, but having all our players in our own box with 5mins to go, it certainly isn't winning games. I will be at the City Ground next season...as long as Megson isn't, because I have no intention of watching us try and gain promotion using 'defend at all costs and just pray for a lucky break' tactics. I believe Keith Curle is still un-employed?
We are now the only club left in the east midlands who have ALWAYS played our football in the top 2 divisions ! Only trouble with that is all records usually go in end !!!!
Another Match and yet another formation, and what on earth was he doing bringing Bopp on in Injury time. 1-1 in a must win match, he should have been on with at least 20 minutes to go, at the end of the day what did we have to lose, bringing him on with 3 minutes to go is time-wasting tactics, you do that if you are defending a 1 goal lead, which we weren't, there is still no width and we still had all 11 players in the six yard box when defending corners, who is their to pick up the ball when we clear it? Sheffield United had 1 on the half way line and 1 in between the half way line and six yard box, thus enabling them to break when the ball was cleared. When we go down it will be more due to Megson's negative tactics than anything else!
It looks very bad for Forest, but I'v checked Brighton's and Watford's remaining fixtures and I cant see them getting any points.
Stuart Pearce as manager,
Nigel Clough as asistant manager, and Paul Hart as the youth team coach, yes i can dream can't i.but we should have acted sooner rather than later.
At least my girlfriend will be happy evey sat next season. We can go shopping instead!
i feel such a loser being a Forest fan at the moment
I think the forest will need some divine intervention from MRClough above. You have to stay up if not to face the mighty RAMS next season! the league will be a boring place without you. First European winners to be playing football in the third tier of Ennglish football. Mind you, you're always were good at setting records! Good luck. That's genuine
Lee Farrell, your money isnt hard earned - you are the laziest man ive ever met.
Fed up Tricky Tree
I've said it all along we are going down because we got rid of Joe K - he saved us last year and would have done again this year!
Smithy No. 1 Fan
Easy easy easy come on u reds were staying up
draw not good enough please do not go down u reds
sad as it seems a point will not be enough- we are down and out. Ill spend my hard earned money at Pride Park next season
It seems incredible that less than 3 years ago we were in the playoffs and now look at us. The whole structure of the club needs to be reassesed.
It's a crying shame that we are relegated in the same season as Mr Clough dies. I'd like to think we will bounce straight back but that may just be blind optimism.
Red Ted Ruddington
Forest opened the scoring with Kris Commons' 47th-minute header, their only shot on target in the 90 minutes. Say no more. We are down!
y do we stick this horrendous formation that doesnt suit us? y does powell still play for us? what is actually going on? oh yeah we're going to torquay. or blackpool...
Well...thats it then?...one attempt on goal..and Forest took it... but lets be honest, it should have been finished by HT?...SUFC were by far the better team....Reading is a tough test on Saturday...but a defeat/draw at the Madjeski surely means relegation?..... :(...beam me up Brian...
